General Information

Q: Is Batya's Kitchen Kosher certified?
A: Yes! We are Kosher Certified by the Tarnopol Kashrus Hashgacha.

Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: Our office hours are 9:30am-5:00pm. Feel free to contact us by email or whatsapp after hours.


Production

Q: Are your menu items Non-Gebrokts?
A: Yes, all of our menu items are Non-Gebrokts.

Q: What type of facility do you operate?
A: We operate a meat facility, and all production is done using meat utensils.

Q: Are you a nut-free facility?
A: No, we are NOT a nut-free facility. Please inform us of any allergy restrictions when placing your order. We do not assume responsibility for airborne allergies.

Q: How are your food items packaged?
A: All of our food items are sent freshly frozen for maximum freshness.

Q: Do you use mushrooms or certain produce in your Pesach production?
A: We do not use mushrooms in our Pesach production. Additionally, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, and strawberries are checked and frozen under Heimishe Hashgachas.

Q: Do you use garlic in your Pesach production?
A: Yes, we use fresh garlic and garlic spices of Kosher L'Pesach hashgacha.

Q: Do you peel all your vegetables in your Pesach production?
A: We are not specific to only peeled vegetables in our Pesach Production.


Storage

Q: When should I prepare my freezer for delivery?
A: Please ensure your freezer is ready to accept deliveries at least 2 weeks before Pesach.

Q: Can you store my order if needed?
A: Yes! If extenuating circumstances prevent you from receiving your order when it's ready, we will store it at no extra charge until you are ready to accept delivery as per our scheduled routes.

Q: Do you store orders for vacation rentals?
A: Absolutely! We can store orders destined for vacation rentals until delivery.


Shipping Information

Q: When are the last delivery dates before Pesach?
- Last Hand Delivery: Thursday, April 10 (NY-NJ)
- Last FedEx Ship Date: Wednesday, April 9

Q: What shipping options do you offer?
- FedEx Priority Overnight: We ship in insulated custom boxes with dry ice.
- Private Trucking Service: Hand delivery- available for Orlando and South Florida customers by reliable freight services.

Q: What are your box sizes and shipping fees?

Note: FedEx imposes a $30 surcharge on boxes exceeding 50 lbs. We will weigh boxes before shipment and notify you if any extra charges apply.

Q: Do you offer special packing for international travel?
A: Yes! Special airplane/suitcase packing includes double wrapping, Ziploc bags, and bubble wrap if needed. This service costs $60 per box.

Q: What days do you offer Fedex Shipping?
A: We Ship Monday-Wednesday. We try not to ship on Thursday to avoid unnecessary stress. If a customer agrees to take the risk, we will ship on Thursday.


Heading to Florida? Here Are Your Shipping Options:

Orlando:

We offer private trucking that will hand-deliver your food just before Pesach. You can choose delivery on either Wednesday or Thursday.
Cost: $95 per box.

South Florida (All Areas):

We partner with Pesach Delivered, a private trucking company, to hand-deliver your food on Thursday.
Cost: $200 per box.

Once you select this option, you can add luggage and additional items for a separate fee by coordinating directly with Pesach Delivered. This is a great choice for those arriving Wednesday or
to their rental.

For Other Floridians (Early Arrivals & Locals):

If you're arriving early or prefer to be organized in advance, FedEx shipping is your best option.
Cost: $162 per box.

Chol Hamoed Deliveries:

For the smoothest experience, we highly recommend receiving your order before Pesach. However, if you need delivery during Chol Hamoed, please place your order in advance.

- Chol Hamoed Shipping Fee: $150 (in addition to regular shipping fees)
- Options:
     • Pick up your box and take it with you
     • Ship via FedEx on the second day of Chol Hamoed

Important Note: If choosing FedEx for Chol Hamoed, do not rely on it for dinner that evening in case of shipping delays.


Additional Services

Q: What extra services do you offer for convenience?
- Packing List & Heating Instructions: Included with every order and emailed automatically upon confirmation. The Invoice is not included in your box, only by email.
- Meal Labeling Service: Available upon request for a flat fee of $250 per order. After Purim this service is not available.
